CH Bichon Frise Boomer Edson, age 13, passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2019 at the Charleston Veterinary Referral Center with his loving family by his side.

Born in Whippany, NJ on July 4, 2006 in the Whitebred Sweet Freedom family where he started his adventurous life with his (4) siblings. (Sire: Multi BPIS Canada & AM CH Fluffette's Encore at Kenningway (Teddy) and Dam: CH White Red's Little Bit O'Luck (Minnie).
Boomer spent most of his life going to work with his dad George at Sunrise Assisted Living properties in the Morris County area where he dedicated his time with residents who needed a boost in their life. He was often seen sitting at the front receptionist desk welcoming visitors to the property and upon request from residents he would be checked out (like a library book) to spend quality 1-1 time with them. He was also the faithful service companion to his dad George who has been challenged with terminal cancer for over 10 years.
In 2008, Boomer was one of (19) Bichon Frise dogs selected to compete in the 132nd Annual Westminster Dog Show in New York. He was entered as CH Whitebred Sweet Freedom at the young age of 18 months. Co-owners: Karen Graeber and George & Janice Edson; Handler: Anibal Faria. Boomer was quite the traveler splitting his time between Morristown NJ the Jersey Shore, and Charleston, SC. He easily adopted to all
environments but preferred living close to the water where he enjoyed walks to the local beach. He looked forward to attending the Annual Bichon Party hosted by the Graebers when he had the opportunity to play and catch-up with his relatives. This not to be missed event was truly an event.
